Effects of Bromealin on Digestive Enzyme Activities and Growth Performance of Asian Redtail Catfish (Hemibragus Nemurus)

Abstract The problem encountered in the culture of asian redtail catfish is its slow growth. increase growth can be accelerated by addition bromealin enzymes found pineapple processing industrial waste. aim this research was to analyze: optimal dose enzyme added feed increasing activity digestive and performance catchfish. main ingredients used were catchfish ( Hemibagrus nemurus ) measuring 5-7 cm, pakcoy plants, boster, enzymes, commercial pellets with 38% protein content, round tubs gutters as test containers. method Completely Randomized Design (CRD) experimental 1 factor, 5 levels treatment 3 replications. study were: without (P 0 ), 2.5% kg -1 3.5% 2 4.5% 5.5% 4 respectively. To determine effect treatment, variance analysis (ANOVA) performed using SPSS software version 13.0. results showed that bromelin different doses had an on catfish. best at 5.5 g feed, which increased protease 95.56%, lipase 612.12%, amylase 338.12%, average weight 13.85 grams, length 12.03 absolute 33.47 6.17 specific rate 2.92 %, Feed Efficiency 69.33%, FCR 1.45% survival rates 92.86% water quality parameters such temperature 24.33-29.73 °C, pH 6.17-7.67, dissolved oxygen (DO) 3.53-7.57 mg L , ammonia 0.00537 .
